Why PXP Endurance Coaching Works

Train with a Licensed Athletic Trainer who builds your plan around durability first — so plateaus and injuries stop derailing your progress.

Purpose-Driven Training - Every workout has a purpose. Instead of simply doing more, you'll do the right training at the right time to maximize improvement.
Progress That Lasts - The best performances come from months of consistent training—not weeks of overtraining. We balance workload, recovery, and adaptation to keep you moving forward.
Coaching Beyond the Numbers - Data tells part of the story. We also consider your goals, experience, recovery, stress, work, and family life to create training that works in the real world.
Confidence on Race Day - Confidence isn't built during the race—it's earned through smart preparation. You'll arrive at the start line knowing you've done the right work.
Built for Long-Term Success - Whether you're chasing your first finish line or your fastest finish, our goal is to help you improve year after year while continuing to enjoy the sport.
Stay Healthy. Keep Improving. - Our athletic training background allows us to identify injury risks early, adjust your training when needed, and keep you progressing with fewer interruptions.

This Is For You If

You're stuck at a plateau — and every week you keep training the same way is another week that doesn't move you forward. PXP Endurance finds what's holding you back now, not after another failed race.
You want every workout to count — you don't have unlimited time to train; the athletes who improve are training smarter, not just longer.
You want to get stronger without breaking down — the athletes who stay in the sport for years build durability before an injury forces the issue, not after.
You have a goal worth chasing — and a plan is what separates chasing it from actually standing at that finish line.

This Is Not For You If

You're shopping for the cheapest option — the cheapest plan that doesn't work costs you more than coaching ever would: months of stalled progress.
You want a shortcut — there isn't one, and looking for it only delays the results you actually want.
You're not ready to commit — half a plan gets you half the results.
You think endurance alone is enough — the athletes getting hurt or stuck are the ones skipping strength and recovery, right up until they can't train at all.

Additional Services

VO2 Max & Lactate Threshold Testing

Take the guesswork out of training with objective performance testing. Identify your true aerobic capacity, threshold points, and ideal training zones so every session is targeted, measurable, and more effective.

Running Gait & Swim Stroke Analysis

Improve efficiency, reduce wasted energy, and uncover movement patterns that may be holding you back. We assess mechanics, identify key limiters, and prescribe drills and skills that help you move better, last longer, and perform with more confidence.

Cycling Power Analysis

Train with precision using power-based profiling and functional threshold data. We help you define your power zones so you can pace smarter, ride stronger, and build fitness with far better accuracy than effort alone.

Strength, Mobility & Injury Prevention Programs

Build the durability every athlete needs to train consistently. We evaluate movement quality, address mobility restrictions and strength deficits, and create a plan that helps you stay healthy, resilient, and ready for sustained progress.

Nutrition & Race Fueling Strategy

Fuel your training and racing with a plan built for performance, not guesswork. We help you optimize daily intake, recovery nutrition, and race-day fueling so you can maintain energy, absorb training, and perform when it matters most.

HRV Readiness Tracking & Training Load Modeling

Train with better timing and less burnout by using recovery data to guide decisions. We track HRV and training load patterns to help you spot fatigue early, adjust before you break down, and keep progressing with confidence.

Injury Risk Screening

Most injuries don't happen out of nowhere — they build slowly from movement patterns, imbalances, and training loads that go unnoticed until they force you to stop. As a Licensed Athletic Trainer, Paul evaluates your mechanics, strength, and mobility to identify the specific risks hiding in your current training before they turn into a missed season or a doctor's visit. You'll leave with a clear picture of where you're vulnerable and a plan to address it — whether that's a few targeted adjustments on your own or the starting point for ongoing coaching.

Return-to-Training Program

This is the natural next step after the Injury Risk Screening, and it's a service almost no coach can credibly offer. Once you're cleared by a doctor or physical therapist, the hardest part is often knowing how to safely rebuild — too fast risks re-injury, too cautious wastes months. As a Licensed Athletic Trainer, Paul builds a phased return protocol based on your specific injury, current capacity, and training history, so you rebuild fitness without gambling on guesswork.

Common Mistakes Endurance Athletes Make

Even highly motivated athletes can struggle to improve when their training approach is missing key fundamentals. Most performance plateaus, injuries, and frustration don’t come from lack of effort — they come from avoidable training mistakes.

At PXP Endurance, we see these patterns often, and coaching is designed specifically to correct them.

1. Overtraining Without Purpose

Many athletes assume that more training automatically leads to better results. In reality, training without structure or recovery leads to fatigue, stalled progress, and increased injury risk.

Pushing harder every day can mask the real issue — your body may not be adapting because it never gets the chance to fully recover and improve. Effective training is about balance: stress, recovery, and adaptation working together.

2. Lack of Structure in Training

Random workouts and inconsistent planning make it difficult to build long-term progress. Without structure, athletes often train hard but fail to develop specific fitness qualities needed for their goals.

A structured plan ensures every session has a purpose — whether it’s building endurance, improving speed, increasing efficiency, or preparing for race demands. Without that direction, progress becomes unpredictable and often slower than expected.

3. No Strength Training Component

Endurance performance is not built on aerobic fitness alone. Without strength training, athletes often face limitations in power, durability, and injury resistance.

Strength work improves movement efficiency, supports joint stability, and helps maintain form when fatigue sets in. Ignoring it can lead to performance plateaus and avoidable setbacks over time.

4. Training Without a Clear Progression Plan

Many athletes train consistently but without a roadmap for progression. This means they repeat similar efforts week after week without a clear path toward improvement.

A proper training system builds progression intentionally — increasing load, refining intensity, and adjusting recovery so fitness improves over time rather than stagnating.

How PXP Coaching Solves This

These mistakes are exactly what structured coaching is designed to fix. At PXP, athletes follow a clear, personalized system that balances training load, integrates strength work, and ensures every workout supports long-term development.

Instead of guessing what to do next, you train with purpose — and every session moves you closer to your goal.
